The second stage of Land & Sea Poker Tour will be held in the Spanish city of Santa Susana this April

Spanish coastal city of Santa Susana, will host the second stage of the Land & Sea Poker Tour amateur poker tournament from April 25 to April 30. The tournament has become known for attracting up and coming players with many years of experience at online poker sites, yet practically none at live poker games.

The €399 discounted entry package includes week-long accommodations and the buy-in for the tournament. Players will be staying at the luxurious Florida Park in Santa Susana. All of hotel’s facilities will be available to guests including the health club, the swimming pool and the saunas. The tournament is expected to gather crowds of young poker enthusiasts to have some fun in the sun and make some money as well.

LSPT is held in full compliance with Spanish gambling laws, which are shortly expected to undergo major changes. The change will provide clear regulations and tax schemes for online gambling including online casinos and online poker sites. The laws were heavily debated by both lawmakers and gambling industry leaders, with tax issues remaining as the sole point of contention.

The LSPT will also provide participants with opportunities to win similar all-inclusive packages to more prestigious tournaments with bigger prizes, but also more high caliber players. Hotel plus the buy-in for the European Poker Tour, The France Poker Series, The Deepstack Open and the Open Barbotan are up for grabs. Other prizes to be given away during LSPT include magazine subscriptions, valuable memorabilia, tickets to large tournaments organized at both online poker sites in Spain and land based casinos.

The first stage of LSPT was held in Andorra this February and capped at 180 players. Big names of women’s poker such as Sabrina Derdaar and Alana Pariente are expected to make an appearance under the Spanish sun this April.
