A few words about Honda Classic

Despite the Honda Classic is a non-major tournament, it is one of the most challenging courses on the PGA Tour. The 15th, 16th and 17th holes, also known as the Bear Trap, make up the third most difficult three-hole stretch on the PGA Tour. More than 140 professional golf players will fight for the championship this weekend.

Currently, Harris English and Tommy Fleetwood are oddsmakers’ favorites with +1000 odds of winning on the Bovada Sportsbook. Although Harris English didn’t appear on the early 2020 Honda Classic prediction list, he suddenly became number one after the first round of the competition. At the same time, Fleetwood has been one of the red-hot favorites right from the beginning. So far he meets expectations – you can check out the recap of Fleetwood’s first round here.

Unexpectedly high odds

However, there also are quite a few surprising predictions. For instance, Rickie Fowler’s current odds are +25000, despite the fact that he has already won the Honda Classic in 2017. Similarly, Brooks Koepka’s rankings have fallen after the first day of the competition. During the early predictions, Koepka’s winning odds were estimated at +1200. However, he hasn’t fully recovered from his knee injury and he currently has +6600 odds to win the 2020 Honda Classic on Bovada Sportsbook.
