The first major tournament of the 2021 LPGA season, the ANA Inspiration is held this week, between the 1st and 4th of April. This will be the 50th tournament in Rancho Mirage organized without fans this time. But golf fans can follow the event on several channels and support their favorites. Like Inbee Park who has become the top favorite in the 2021 ANA Inspiration betting predictions after her latest victory in the Kia Classic last week.  The first tournament at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California was held in 1972 while it became a major in 1983. In the early years it offered the biggest prize money, more than double of the other majors. It is still one of the most prestigious events of the calendar with all top players taking part in it. Who all want to follow the previous winners like Amy Alcott and Annika Sorenstam with both players winning three times here. Last year the competition was held in September but now it’s back to its original date in April. South Korean Mirim Lee is the defending champion and she will be back to defend her title. But she won’t have an easy job in the strong field including the world’s top 15 players.

2021 ANA Inspiration betting predictions mention top South Korean players as main favorites

Inbee Park won the latest event in the 2021 LPGA Tour last weekend, the Kia Classic also in California.  With her victory, the 32-year-old South Korean has moved to second place in the world ranking. She has become the biggest favorite of online sportsbooks in the US to win the first major of the season. Park has already won this tournament in 2013 and seems to be in her best form again. The 2016 Olympic champion has won seven major championships so far and has the odds of +750 to win her eighth title now.  Her compatriot, Jin Young Ko follows her with the odds of +1000 in the 2021 ANA Inspiration betting predictions. The world No1 has also got a victory from Rancho Mirage two years ago, but missed the event last season. Ko hasn’t won any tournament since her victory at the CME Group Tour Championship last December. But she finished second in the Drive On Championship in Florida and 4th in the Kia Classic last weekend. With her recent great  form she can easily win the title here again.

The American favorites

Nelly Korda has started this season superbly after winning in Gainbridge and finishing third in the Diamond Resorts Tournament in Florida. But in the last few races she couldn’t achieve similar results. Now the 22-year-old US player has the chance to win her first major title of her career. After she was close to it last season when she only lost in the play-off against another South Korean player, Mirim Lee. Online gambling sites in the US offer the odds of +1100 for Korda’s victory this time.  While the other two top US players, Danielle Kang and Lexi Thompson have the odds of +1200 on BetOnline. Kang has been one of the most consistent players of the LPGA Tour and continued her balanced performance this season too. She finished 2nd in the Diamonds Resort, and got a 6T and 7T finishes from the last two events. The 2014 ANA Inspiration champion, Lexi Thompson will try to get another great result here. The world No6 usually performs well in one of her favorite events. As she also has a 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finish from the last five years. The 26-year-old is hoping to get her first victory since June 2019 now.
