The 2021 LPGA Tour continues this week with the 2021 BMW Ladies Championship held in Busan, South Korea. Fans will hope for a local victory which has a really good chance after having so many great South Korean players in the field. Like world No2 Jin Young Ko who got her 10th LPGA Tour victory in the previous race. And she is the top favorite again according to the 2021 LPGA BMW Championship odds.

The BMW Ladies Championship made its debut in the LPGA Tour two years ago, in 2019. When the tournament replaced the former South Korean race in Incheon. This event is held at the course of LPGA International Busan with several top players taking part in it. Including world No2 Jin Young Ko, and her compatriots, Inbee Park, and Sei Young Kim. But also the runner-up of the first event here, American Danielle King. Another local player, Ha Na Jang won the inaugural event and is the defending champion after the cancellation of last year’s tournament. Her victory now would be a huge surprise though in this super-strong field.

2021 LPGA BMW Championship Odds Favor Top-form Jin Young Ko To Get Her 4th Victory In the Season

Jin Young Ko won the last event this season, the 2021 Cognizant Founders Cup in New Jersey two weeks ago. It was her 10th overall LPGA Tour victory and the third this season. The 26-year-old player also got a T2 and a 6th-place finish from the previous tournaments. Ko lost her first place in the world rankings to Nelly Korda in the summer. But if she continues in a similar style, it shouldn’t take long for her to be back in the top spot. Now online sportsbooks in South Korea favor Ko to win the race in front of the home crowd with the odds of 5.50.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exNV8KcjwYU Her compatriots can also achieve great results on home soil in the only Asian tournament this season. Like Hyo Joo Kim who mostly plays in the LPGA of Korea Tour and got 13 wins there. The 2014 Evian Championship winner also won this year’s HSBC Women’s World Championship which was her 4th LPGA Tour victory. In addition, Kim finished T3 in the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship and moved to 11th place in the world rankings.  Due to her great results and form, she has odds of 17.00 to get the win in the 2021 LPGA BMW Championship odds.

Lee and Kang in Other Top Favorites

Minjee Lee is currently in sixth place in the world rankings which is her career-best position so far. The Australian golfer won her first major title at this year’s Evian Championship in the summer. She also played well in the Women’s British Open where she finished in fifth place. While Lee was second in the 2021 Hana Financial Group Championship in the Korean Tour. Now her odds to win her 7th LPGA Tour event is 15.00 on 1xBet. American Danielle Kang has similar odds (17.00) to finish on top in Busan.

The world No10 was the runner-up in the 2019 tournament here after losing the playoff against Ha Na Jang. Kang also reached the playoff of this year’s Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions but was defeated by Jessica Korda. Now she can try to get her first win since August 2020. Interestingly online gambling sites in South Korea only offer the odds of 26.00 for the fans’ favorite, Inbee Park. The world No3 will make her debut appearance after missing the first event two years ago. But she can definitely get a good result on home soil. And the first win since her victory at the 2021 Kia Classic this March.
