You’d think, after all that has gone on, the odds on Donald Trump getting re-elected would appear quite distant. Instead, he’s the favorite at most online betting sites in the US. Especially if the Republicans control both the house and the senate once more. They will. The Republicans garner far shorter odds on the midterm elections than the Democrats. A bet on the Democrats to win a majority in either is now somewhat optimistic. Now obviously some will blame the background crisis for this, but honestly, that’s not it.
