Six board members and three general members joined the American Gaming Association as part of new membership structure.

Konami Gaming Inc, William Hill US, Greenwood Racing Inc., Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and Seminole Hard Rock Gaming will now become board members on the newly formed American Gaming Association (AGA) board structure. The AGA welcomed three new general members including Ainsworth Game Technology, Electronic Transaction Systems and FinScan.

The AGA is seeking to bring together, in unity, the gaming industry, both for land-based and mobile casinos, and is doing so through a policy of transparency. The new organisational structure and board member additions are the latest in a series of inclusive changes, under the leadership of the AGA Board of Directors and president and CEO ,Geoff Freeman.

Members must adhere by AGA’s Code of conduct

Included in the AGA’s new structure is a “seat at the table”, under US gambling laws, regarding licensed and regulated casino gaming operators. Commercial and tribal will be taken into consideration as well as suppliers that abide by the AGA’s Member Code of Conduct and which of course meet the pre-requisites of the association.

Moreover, financial service providers, non-gaming suppliers and destination marketing organisations can now take part in the newly structured organisation. Freeman said that AGA’s goal was to “elevate the AGA’s ability to advocate for the entire gaming industry – in Washington, in the media and in communities across America”.
