Fertitta Interactive, a subsidiary of the US land-based gambling giant which includes the Golden Nugget and Station casinos is finally making its move into the mysterious world of online gambling.
Recent reports disclosed an alleged deal which allowed Fertitta to absorb all assets of CyberArts. CyberArts is one of the oldest online poker and social bingo software development companies operating out of California and Alderney.
All CyberArts employees will remain at Fertitta, which operates in full compliance of state and American gambling laws and will now be well-positioned for the upcoming legalization of online gambling action in America. CyberArts has never broken the country’s laws, and despite being based in the USA it has never accepted American players.
A press statement from Fertitta states that after joining the group the CyberArts team will “continue to advance its industry-leading online products, including poker, while benefitting from FI’s principals’ casino expertise, extensive media platform, and proven success at reaching the coveted 21-40 year old male demographic.”
CyberArts co-founder Chris Derossi told United States gambling news: “This is the right deal for CyberArts and a tremendous opportunity to continue to provide the best online gaming software in the United States. Fertitta Interactive’s strong vision, commitment to seek federal regulation for online poker, and long history of gaming industry leadership make it the perfect new home for the CyberArts products and personnel.”
Fertitta Intractive founder and executive Lorenzo Fertitta revealed that his company has given its full support to the federal regulation of online poker sites in United States. FI plans to develop new products with the aim of ultimately providing its customers with a unique online gaming experience in a safe and secure environment.
The company was founded by Lorenzo Fertitta, Frank Fertitta III, Tom Breitling and Tim Poster, all extremely successful entrepreneurs in related industries. FI’s principals have a unique history of developing businesses in the casino industry: Station Casinos and the Golden Nugget Casino.
Other industries, where the company enjoyed tremendous success include internet travel- Travelscape/Expedia and sports entertainment – Ultimate Fighting Championship.
