Former Aussie poker player claims All Slots Casino’s ad targeting Australians is against gambling laws.

The national radio program AM has run a feature on the latest Australian gambling news.

The story featured a former Aussie poker player who has reported the Australian internet casino „All Slots” to the Australian Communications and Media Authority for what he considered illegal advertising.

According to the company information, All Slots Casino is located in Belize and licensed in the Kahnawake territory in Quebec, Canada. The question is if, and to what extent can Australian gambling laws be applied to the operator.

All Slots services are available and marketed to Aussies. Former poker player Tom Cummings says the online casino is breaking the Australian law by targeting Australians with its advertising. Cummings claims that the operator fakes an Australian identity by billing itself as the 'top online casino in Australia'.

According to Cummings, the Interactive Gambling Act prohibits advertising and providing online casino websites and services in Australia. So far, there has been no serious enforcement of this regulation.

Cummings was playing a game of Solitaire on his mobile phone, when a pop up ad appeared, linking to the All Slots online casino, offering him a sign-up bonus.

Cummings lodged the complaint with the Australian Communications and Media Authority, saying: "Although it is not an Australian company, the website has a page which displays the Australian flag and claims that it is the top online casino in Australia."

The Australian authority is assessing the complaint. All Slots Casino has not yet commented on the case.
