Since Real Madrid have suffered a 5-1 defeat in Barcelona, Florentino Perez reportedly wants to act fast and name someone as the new manager. While the odds are 1.14 on Antonio Conte, family members of the Italian claimed the Blancos haven’t talked to the Italian manager yet. Some argue that Arsene Wenger’s name is also in the hat. While the odds are 4.00 on the Frenchman to manage Real Madrid, there are some other interesting candidates for the job as well.

Things are going bad at Real Madrid. The Blancos haven’t managed to win any of their last 5 La Liga matches. They’re currently in the 9th position with 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Last Sunday they’ve lost 5-1 against Barcelona at the Camp Nou, and seems like their current manager, Julen Lopetegui is not able to make significant changes to turn things around. Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez has to act quickly and replace his current manager.

It could be time to bet on Arsene Wenger as he’s ready to get back in management

We’ve seen some miraculous decisions made by Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez. For instance, there is the case of Rafa Benitez. The career of the Spanish manager was already in a downfall at the time he was appointed. The current manager, Julen Lopetegui was also a surprising choice, as he has already had a contract with the Spanish national team when Perez has approached him. Based on these decisions, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Arsene Wenger to manage Real Madrid. The odds are currently 5.00 on him at BetVictor Sportsbook. You never know, what’s in Florentino’s mind…

Bookies claim Conte will be the new manager

Antonio Conte
Perez hasn’t approached Conte so far, according to his family members. Yet, the bookies are betting on him.
Online sportsbook sites in Spain are almost sure about Antonio Conte to become the next Real Madrid manager.  BetVictor Sportsbook agrees with them, as the odds are 1.14 on the Italian head coach. However, a few days ago, his family members stated that Perez hasn’t approached Conte so far. “Antonio is on vacation and he has not received any calls from Real Madrid. Real Madrid is a very big club, but there was no contact." – Daniele Conte claimed. We argue that Conte is probably the most likely candidate for the job, as papers whisper he could be appointed today.

Calderon: Perez wants Mourinho

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague always seems to know a lot about the details behind the scenes. This time, he has mentioned that Florentino Perez is ready to get Jose Mourinho back to Madrid. Though Mourinho claims it’s pointless to talk about him signing for Real, ex-chairman Ramon Calderon has also stated that Perez is serious about his business: “I think he will be here - if he leaves Manchester, of course. But sooner or later, I think he will be here.”  Betvictor Sportsbook seems less convinced, as the odds are 13.00 on the Portugese manager.

Fans would love to see their legends to manage their club

Ex-Real Madrid player Santiago Solari is also a candidate for the job. The odds are 3.00 on the Castilla coach to become the next Real Madrid manager. His appointment also makes sense – the last time Perez named his reserve-coach as his new manager, the Blancos have won 3 consecutive Champions League trophies. Another legend, Guti is also someone to pay attention to. The former midfielder is currently the assistant manager of Besiktas, while he’s definitely a fans’ favourite in Madrid. However, his appointment is much more unlikely, and the odds are 11.00 on him at Betvictor Sportsbook.
