The Reds look to rebuild squad after selling Luis Suarez and challenge for their first Premier League title since 1990.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has done a remarkable job last season. The Reds just narrowly missed on claiming their first title in almost a quarter century as they finished second, a mere two points behind champions Manchester City.

The Reds have sold Luis Suarez to Barcelona for a reported fee of GBP 75 million. Rodgers was busy trying to reinvest most of that money back into creating a formidable squad capable of challenging for the title. However, some online sportsbooks in the UK believe that the loss of Suarez has in fact weakened the team, despite getting a great deal of money for him.

The Reds are among likely contenders for top four finish

Bet365 has given Liverpool unfavorable odds of 11.00 (10/1) of capturing the title next season. However their chances of securing a top four finish are 2.00 (1/1), right behind the favorites. The Reds have brought in a three players from Southampton alone that include: defender Dejan Lovren, midfielder Adam Lallana and attacker Rickie Lambert.

While further enforcements came from Leverkusen, Benfica and Lille, as Emre Can, Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi were purchased respectively. Defender Javier Manquillo was also brought in on loan from Atletico Madrid.
