Europe’s best 4 teams will meet in thrilling clashes to decide who will deserve to play in the final.

The Champions League is the most prestigious tournament in European club football. EU gambling news report that no team have ever managed to win the tournament in 2 consecutive years ever since the tournament’s name has been changed to its current one. However, title holders Real Madrid have great chance to do so this season.

Pep Guardiola will face his former team where he became legendary manager

FC Barcelona are in superb form by the end of the season even though they started poorly. Now they are regarded as one of the main favourites for winning both the Champions League and the Spanish La Liga, which they lead by 2 points against Real Madrid with only 6 remaining games left. They also reached the semi-final once again hope to qualify for the last game of the tournament.

• Semifinals will take place in May
• Guardiola returns to Camp Nou
• Juve are underdogs against Real Madrid

The Spanish giant played French championship title holder Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals and eliminated them easily. Luis Enrique’s men won 1-3 in Paris which already decided about the qualification and made the second leg a bit dull. However, Neymar made sure it will not be a dull game as he scoured a double, due to which his team won the second leg by 2-0, putting Barca in the semi-finals on a combined result of 5-1.

Guardiola

Bayern Munich had many problems in recent times. Many players suffered from grave injuries which took away a lot of power from their squad. They hardly even had enough man to play against certain teams. As a result of these many injuries, Bayern Munich lost 3-1 on Portugal against underdogs FC Porto, where only Thiago Alcantara could score for Bayern while Quaresma put the ball in the net twice and Jackson Martinez also managed to score.

Many believed that Bayern Munich had it over and will fail to qualify after the first leg’s result. However, they proved everyone wrong. At Allianz Arena, they already took the lead as early as the 14th minute and in the 22nd minute they were already leading by 2-0 which was a result good enough for them to reach the next round. But that was not enough, they scored 4 more times while Porto only managed to reply with 6, setting the final result at 6-1, which meant a 7-4 aggregation for Bayern Munich.

The encounter between the two “FCBs” will be a thrilling and action packed game. Both teams like to play attractive football and both of them like to dominate the midfield and have possession. However, the last clash between the two sides was expected to be at least this exciting yet Bayern easily humiliated Barcelona on a combines result of 7-0, so the Catalans have burning desire to take revenge on the Bavarian club.

Real Madrid go as favourites against FC Juventus

Juve Real

Real Madrid managed to defeat Atletico de Madrid only once out of 8 games in this season, however that victory secured their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League. According to online sportsbooks in Spain, Carlo Ancelotti’s men were favourites against the Rojiblancos even though their poor form against the city rival.

The first leg at Estadio Vicente Calderón, home of Atletico de Madrid, resulted in a goalless draw. Real Madrid had many chances and dominated the whole game, but they failed to score a goal on away field. The second leg was going on as something similar, they had chances to score but they missed everything until the very last moments: Cristiano Ronaldo passed the ball to Chicharito, who scored the only goal of the duel in the 88th minute. Javier Hernandez put his team to the next round

Juventus dominate the Serie A as they lead by 15 points against second placed Lazio. Only 7 games left which means they need only 2 more wins to secure the golden medal. However, the Italian side is regarded as the weakest team of the semi-finals, even though the fact that they already proved themselves to be a good tactical team who knows how to defend against anyone.

In the previous round they faced AS Monaco and after winning the first leg with a controversial penalty goal by Vidal, the two teams played a boring 0-0 on the second leg. Juventus have some problems with the injuries as the greatest star of the team, Paul Pogba, will expectedly miss the first leg of the semi-finals.

All in all, mobile betting sites believe that Real Madrid will qualify for the Champions League final again after last year’s success. If they did manage to defeat and eliminate FC Juventus, that would give huge chance for the Royal Club to be the first team ever to defend the Champions League title as no club has ever done that ever since the tournament is called this way (1992).
