One last chance to witness Champions League football this year, as the curtain for the event closes with some spectacular matches on the agenda.

Messi’s Barcelona will take on PSG at the Nou Camp in Group F, while Mnachester City will give their all against Italian side AS Roma as they try to reach the knockout phase of the elite competition, according to UK gambling news. There will also be plenty of superb action in other groups as Sporting will face Chelsea away and Schalke will go head to head against Maribor.

These encounters, combined with some other great ones, will provide one last opportunity for fans to support their teams as the next time the Champions League comes around it will be February of the 2015.

Groups G and H

Jose Mourinho has made sure that his team Chelsea qualify for the next round before the final group match comes around. They can now relax as they have a total of 12 points in first place of Group G, while Sporting are in second with 7 points. The Blues next face the Portuguese club at Stamford Bridge and are favorites 1.72 (18/25) according to Unibet Sportsbook. Considering their position they will likely field their reserves to give them some playing time.

Sporting cannot afford to lose this encounter as Schalke is right behind them with 5 points, so they must at least made a draw. If the Germans were to win against Maribor away then they would have 8 points, something that poses a serious threat to the Lisabon club. Schalke have been assigned odds of 1.78 (39/50), whereas the Slovenian hosts maintain outsider odds 4.60 (18/5). This group is looking to showcase a thrilling climax as there might be a great deal of drama.

Porto are the undisputed winners of Group H having recorded 4 wins and only 1 draw so far, results that got them an overall of 13 points. The 2004 Champions League winners are up against Shakhtar at home, however both teams have already cemented their place in the knockout phase next year. So this game will only be a formality, but punters may still look to capitalize on this match as Portuguese mobile betting sites are favoring the hosts 1.82 (41/50).

Although the first two teams in the group have the luxury of playing their weaker sides, the same cannot be said for the latter two clubs. Athetic Bilbao is third (4 points), while Bate Borisov is in last place (3 points). The club that finishes the group third will qualify for the Europa League, so both of these teams will give it their all as they go head to head on Wednesday night. The Spanish hosts are favorites 1.28 (7/25), whereas the visiting team has been assigned 11.50 (21/2).

Groups E and F

Under Guardiola, Bayern Munich is invincible. Nobody seems to be able to stop them both in the Bundesliga or in the Champions League, where they currenctly have a total of 12 points. By guaranteeing their place in the competition next February when it resumes, their next encounter won't matter much to them. However, for every other side in the group the final match will be of vital importance, as all the rest (Man City, CSKA and Roma) have an equal playing field.

All the other clubs after Bayern have so far accumulated only 5 points, which technically puts them all in 2 position. This will one great group to watch on Wednesday evening. Manchester City will play against AS Roma away, in a match where the Italians maintain a slight edge 2.45 (29/20) while the Sky Blues have been assigned odds of 2.85 (37/20). Taking into account Man City's inability to put on a convincing performance in Europe, a draw may be on the agenda again 3.55 (51/20).
• Jose Mourinho may consider fielding his reserves against Sporting
• Group E will have plenty of great football action
• Barcelona and PSG will battle it out for the first place in Group F
In Group F, the main leaders are PSG wih 13 points and they are followed closely behind by Barcelona with 12 points. Both clubs are safe as the latter two sides Ajax and APOEL only have 2 and 1 point respectively. The Dutch club will host APOEL where they will try to qualify for the Europa League. Ajax have been given oddws of 1.60 (3/5), while APOEL are strong outsiders 6.00 (5/1).

Although both the Parisien club and the Catalan side don’t have anything left to play for, this will be an exciting encounter to watch for many football fans. Messi has the opportunity to continue scoring more goals and therefore making it harder for everyone else of beating his record. As per Spanish gambling laws, Unibet is able to offer a great deal of betting options and for the upcoming clash they have earmarked Barcelona to win 1.47 (23/50), while PSG have 7.00 (6/1).
