After the huge success of the Dublin event, the first 2016 MPN Poker Tour was booked to Vienna.

Microgaming has released the details concerning the 2016 MPN Poker Tour. The highly anticipated event will take place Montesino Casino in Vienna, Austria. Confirmed by Austrian gambling news, the event is scheduled between January 21-24. The guaranteed prize pool of the main event was specified at USD 200,000.

What’s in the EUR 1,500 package of the 2016 MPN Poker Tour?

Players win their way to the main event on online satellites that have already started. The 2016 MPN Poker Tour attracts lots of players, which is not surprising after the success of the Dublin event in September with 570 players from around the globe. “Our event in Dublin had a huge prize pool of €256,500 and we expect to beat that with the Vienna festival,” commented Alex Scott, Head of Poker at Microgaming. Poker enthusiasts can turn as little as EUR 0,25 into a EUR 1,500 package for the 2016 MPN Poker Tour in Vienna.

The package offers a EUR 550 entry to the Main Event and a EUR 150 entry into a side event. It covers the accommodation too, for four night at the Roomz Hotel. Also, it serves as an invitation to a welcome party with free drinks. Microgaming’s 2016 MPN Poker Tour package includes money towards travel and expenses. “Vienna is an amazing city that can only be made better by a weekend of top-quality poker action,” raised the expectations for Austrian poker rooms Alex Scott.

From an upstart festival to an international poker competition

Founded in 2014, the MPN Poker Tour has developed into a major international poker event during the course of 18 months. Besides the 2016 MPN Poker tour in Vienna, Microgaming is already planning the other 2016 events. Launched in 2003, Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) is one of the most renowned online poker networks on earth. The Microgaming powered multi-language software implements all the popular poker variants and side games.
