France are favourites against England in their second rugby union World Cup warm-up game in the span of a week.

England defeated France 19-14 last week at Twickenham. However, it is expected that both sides will field stronger teams in Paris this Saturday for the rematch, gambling news report. Johnny May will be the only player in the English side, who will retain his place for the second game against Les Bleus. England has a three-game warm-up program before the World Cup that starts in September and where they will play as hosts. They will play their last preparation game against Ireland on 5 September.

Stuart Lancaster, the head coach of the men sporting the red rose on their chests, has time to put together his 31-man squad until 31 August. England will play their first match against Fiji at Twickenham on 18 Spetember. Lancaster said, “In terms of naming the 31, we're getting there. It's been a very difficult selection process this week, I found it hard in a lot of ways. What happens in the next two games will have a bearing, but what's happened over the past eight weeks will have a big bearing as well.”

France are slight favorites to win according to betting odds

The English players will have the opportunity to upset the odds in Paris, proving their worth for Lancaster. France are slight favourites according to GTbets, available at odds of 1.90 (9/10). The English starting XV will include 12 names that represented England against France in the final match of this year’s Six Nations. England defeated France by 55-35 then, as many of those, who bet on sports in the UK might remember.

The English also won last week, and as visitors, they were handed even odds by GTbets. Since their side will be almost at full strength, it won’t be completely foolish from those, who gamble online to back them against France either. A not incredibly, but surprising draw is priced at 19.25 (73/4).

Even more betting odds will be available at GTbets for rugby-related sports, as the internet betting operator now offers Aussie rules as well, not to mention the NFL that is well into preseason. To find out more about the recommended online sportsbook, please have a look at our GTbets review.
