Following his impressive loan spell with Flamengo last season, Gabriel Barbosa is wanted by a host of world top clubs. Flamengo, Tottenham, and Chelsea are all targeting the Brazilian striker. According to the Gabriel Barbosa new club betting predictions, Flamengo has the best chance to sign him permanently. The 23-year-old Gabriel Barbosa has spent last season on loan at Flamengo from Inter Milan. As online sportsbook news in Brazil reported, in 43 appearances with Flamengo Gabigol scored 34 goals and provided 11 assists. He also scored two goals in the last two minutes of the Copa Libertadores final against River Plate to help Flamengo snatch victory. Gabigol has since returned to Italy but he is not in Antonio Conte’s plans. His price is between  €20 - €30 million, which is relatively small in the current market. Gabigol has attracted plenty of interest in Europe. However, our Gabriel Barbosa new club betting predictions opt for the Brazilian side Flamengo to likely retain his services with a permanent deal.

The negotiations are underway for Gabriel Barbosa to join Flamengo

The reigning Brazillian Serie A and Copa Libertadores champions have reached unprecedented heights thanks to Gabigol's services. Thus, there is no doubt that they will be more than happy to keep Gabigol for several seasons to come. The negotiations with Inter Milan are underway. The deal seems to be very close according to Flamengo vice president Marcos Braz. Some analysts believe that it is a matter of time until the deal comes out. Therefore, we think a bet on Gabigol to join Flamengo with 1.333 odds at BetVictor is almost certainly a safe bet if English clubs do not seek a coup.

Following the injury of Harry Kane who might miss the rest of the season, Tottenham is in the market seeking a replacement. Their head coach Jose Mourinho has already started moaning about his dire need to sign a new striker. A host of strikers have been linked to Tottenham including the Brazilian Gabriel Barbosa with 15 odds as per online sportsbooks in Brazil. There are a few tools in the hands of Tottenham to steal Gabigol from Flamengo. First, they might exploit the gap between the Brazilian league and the English Premier League. Second, they might use Christen Eriksen who is heavily linked to Inter Milan in a swap deal for Gabigol. Third, the price is relatively small. That means Gabigol might be a good bargain if he manages to produce anywhere near the output he did in Brazil. However, it is not clear whether Gabigol will fit in England, which might cause a problem striker to Mourinho.

Gabriel Barbosa is well suited to the way Chelsea play

Chelsea is another top contender seeking to sign Gabriel Barbosa. Thus, many reports are claiming that Gabigol is Frank Lampard’s number one January target. If he moves to Stamford Bridge, he would initially play second fiddle to Tammy Abraham. He can feature in cup competitions and push for a starting spot in years to come. Gabigol’s hold up play, finishing, and aerial ability make him particularly well suited to the way Chelsea plays. Therefore, the Gabriel Barbosa new club betting predictions consider Chelsea as one of Gabigol’s top destinations with 15 odds. However, Chelsea also needs to add a central defender and a left-back, so they need to be smart about their budgeting.
