German Casino Broadcast Roulette Spins Live

Spielbank Schleswig-Holstein GmbH, one of Germany’s largest land-based casino operators starts live streaming of a range of its table game titles. The German operator is using Smart Gaming Group’s Smart Live Box solution, online gambling news in Germany reported.

Gamblers in any of the five Spielbank Schleswig-Holstein casinos will have the possibility to bet on the results being generated by any of casinos’ table games in real time. The first such live-streamed game allowed to be broadcast by German gambling laws will be roulette.

Matthias Hein, managing director for Kiel-based Spielbank Schleswig-Holstein was quoted saying: “This is an important step into up-to-date technology for Spielbank Schleswig-Holstein. We now feel well prepared to expand our gaming experience on a new platform.”

A spokesperson from Smart Gaming Group commented: “This strategic partnership will also enable us to supply live casino to a bigger audience and further extends what we believe to be the most divergent and eclectic offering of live dealer products.”

The Smart Live Box is Smart Gaming Group’s flagship product that allows players to bet from their hotel room, restaurant or anywhere near a casino’s premises. The TV broadcast quality enables players to watch live table games from their TV and bet through a tablet device utilizing betting platform, player account and cashier management solutions.

Spielbank Schleswig-Holstein released its first live streaming roulette game app for Android and iOS platforms this summer. The German mobile gambling application allows Smart Live players to put money on Spielbank Schleswig-Holstein land casino table roulette tables in real time.
