International Game Technology (IGT) – one of the world’s most renowned online gambling software producers have been slowly, but surely reducing its staff. Naturally, competition has been luring the laid-off executives around the globe.
The latest IGT exec to join another company was Joe Kaminkow, who signed up as Senior VP of games development at Aristocrat, a Sydney-based online and land-based gambling content and software developer operating in full compliance with Australian gambling laws.
Aristocrat has been quick to announce the senior staff member acquisition in a press statement. Kaminkow has been praised for his creative talent in leading the devise of such cash-cow slots as Sex & the City, Wheel of Fortune, and Ghostbusters, which are enjoying great popularity in both Australian online casinos and worldwide.
The Australian games developer also noted that Kaminkow’s vast experience in slots especially in North America will widely benefit the company’s new strategy of expanding on this market segment and optimizing their business. The new Senior VP will be leading a team in Las Vegas stating from May 2013.
