Two solutions for possible LA NFL teams were presented at the owners meeting.

It seems that Los Angeles will get his NFL franchise as early as next year. The United States’ second biggest market was left for 20 years without a football franchise. However the LA NFL team project is now at an advanced stage.
• New stadium in Carson or Inglewood
• Chargers and Raiders would share a ground
• San Antonio hosting the Raiders also a possibility
Los Angeles might even end up with two teams, as the Rams, the Chargers and the Raiders are all keen on a move back to the City of Angels. It is an exciting time for L.A. locals, who like to bet on football. Though the varying US gambling laws heavily limit most fans’ betting options, Angelenos will only have to visit Las Vegas to place a wager on their team.

Stan Kroenke, the owner of the Rams presented his plans of an Inglewood stadium. He addressed the NFL owners at a meeting in the suburbs of Chicago. His biggest problem is that he also owns the NBA team Denver Nuggets, the NHL franchise Colorado Avalanche as well as Major League Soccer team Colorado Rapids through the Kroenke Sports Enterprises. NFL rules don’t permit a franchise owner to possess additional professional sport teams in a different market.

To comply with the rules, the Kroenke Sports Enterprises is officially owned by his son, Josh Kroenke. However, NFL owners might naturally oppose to allocate an LA NFL Team, in one of the two largest markets of the States, for someone, who has significant interests in another city. According to Roger Goodell, Kroenke submitted a satisfying plan to solve this problem though. It will be reviewed in September by the Finance Committee.

Multiple LA NFL Teams: Chargers and Raiders in Carson

To go with the Rams would mean that the league abandons the St. Louis market however. Meanwhile there are two California franchises already with stadium problems, and are keen to move into the City of Angels. They have a mutual project that would create two LA NFL Teams. The Chargers and the Raiders plan to build a stadium in Carson that both franchises would use. This plan would thrill many of those, who bet on sports in the US.

NFL team executive Carmen Policy is on the project. He said, “It works for the NFL. It works for the L.A. market, and now it works for the two teams that are playing in the most dilapidated and terrible stadiums in the league. You have to remember, these two facilities predated Candlestick in terms of accommodating football, and Candlestick today is rubble and dust.”

LA NFL Team for long term

The Carson project is a little too ambitious, 3 years delay is too much for an NFL franchise

What is against this solution is that the Carson stadium wouldn’t be ready for the 2019 season. Kroenke might aim for 2018 to gain an advantage. The authorities of St. Louis and San Diego are determined to keep the teams in their respective cities. St. Louis has plans for an impressive USD 400 million stadium. San Diego just placed an improved offer on the table with a 300 million dollar contribution to a new stadium. Chargers representatives said that they won’t accept the San Diego offer. Meanwhile there is no plan for a new stadium in Oakland.

League commissioner Roger Goodell revealed that the owner’s aim is securing an LA NFL team for long term. The league is considered to be in excellent positions. They can choose from different plans to exploit a huge market. Goodell said, “It's a relatively unique circumstance where you have multiple teams interested in relocating to a market where there are two different solutions. And our focus on that is, if they meet the relocation policy, is to make sure we have a solution that is going to work for the long term in Los Angeles.”

He added, “That's the key issue for us – making sure that whatever we ultimately decide as a membership, that we have the ability to be successful in Los Angeles for the long term. That's why we spent the last two decades trying to come up with a solution that we thought would provide that kind of a foundation.” Anyone who likes to gamble online might be excited. It seems that one of the LA NFL team projects will finally get the green light.

The owners will start to determine the LA NFL team or teams in October. It seems that Los Angeles should have one or two franchises by next year. However, securing a useful temporary ground would be crucial. If that won’t happen, mobile betting players expect the Raiders moving to San Antonio for at least three seasons. The Alamo City has been vying for an NFL franchise for long. They almost tempted the Saints to leave New Orleans after the Katrina for good.
