Melco Crown is developing impressive project in the Philippines which will be the second of its kind in the city

Melco Crown's luxurious project City of Dreams Manila is going to be ready for its grand opening in mid-2014. This exciting gambling news was announced by Sterne Agee, financial analyst, during a management meeting with the casino operator.

Melco Crown is working together with Belle Corporation, local developer, on the Philippines project, which is planned to become the 2nd of the four integrate resorts and casinos to start operating in the Philippines' Entertainment City.

Solaire Casino & Resort was the first development of this kind that opened in March. It held the casino monopoly in the region until COD Manila started operating, and now with the launching of City of Dreams Manila in 2014, there will be much more competition in the area. This is good for the gamblers who will surely benefit from the variety of games and bonuses offered by the casinos.

Currently, Melco Crown is also developing a fully integrated resort and casino in Macau, which is planned to open in mid-2015. Luckily, everything is also going on according to the plan and it will be completed for the scheduled opening.

However, the priority of the company still lays on the Philippines project that will introduce wide variety of games – Filipino poker rooms, slots and many more games for the entertainment of punters. That is why the company is investing all possible resources, what is even better – the hotel tower 5 at City of Dreams just broke ground with target opening in late 2016.

Melco Crown is expecting busy and exciting years ahead with its two enormous projects to be completed in the near future. The company is getting ready to respond to all operators who are tempted to take advantage of the Philippines gambling laws, which will allow the country to become a hub for gamblers in this part of Asia.
