Winning the White House and removing Donald Trump was important. No question. However, if Joe Biden and the Democrats want to move forward they need control of the Senate too. This still hangs in the balance. That’s why you can find odds on the Georgia Senate Runoff elections at online sportsbook sites in the US like Bovada. The future of the US is still up for grabs. But will the people of Georgia opt for a progressive Democrat agenda or four years of Republican stonewalling?  It might seem a tad unfair to believe the Republicans will do all in their power to block whatever Biden wants to do. An accusation that rings of childish peevishness. However, they do have a record of doing precisely that. Just ask Barack Obama. Should the Republicans retain control of the Senate the Biden administration will have little room to maneuver. So, in some ways, the odds on the Georgia Senate Runoff elections are the ballgame. Certainly, both parties believe it. They’re both throwing all the political and fiscal resources they can muster into these two races. You can bet on the Republicans to be quite confident. The current odds on the Georgia Senate Runoff Elections give them the edge. This isn’t a huge surprise. It’s Georgia. However, the distinct galvanization of the electorate seen in November could produce interesting results. Indeed anyone in the US gambling laws averages apply this year hasn’t been paying attention. It’s 2020.

Typically, runoff elections attract a small turn out. A small turn out that tends to vote Republican. But, in a year as unpredictable as this, no one is relying on that. Georgia “should” have voted for Trump, but it swung to Biden on the back of a youth protest vote. That same energized youth could seize on this opportunity to ditch two Republican senators. So, whilst the odds on the Georgia Senate Runoff Elections look good for Mitch McConnell, this is far from cut and dried yet.

The November results prove that, so the Democrats need to get out the vote in January. If they do the prices at online betting sites in the US like Bovada could be moot.

Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are standing against, respectively, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. The Reverend has the easier task ahead of him. Warnock brings the church and the hugely important black vote with him. Were it just him racing the odds on the Georgia Senate Runoff Elections would be very different.
Ossoff vs Perdue

His chances are what lengthens the odds on the Georgia Senate Runoff Elections o, this one small senate race is vital. Expect it to get messy.
