Panama City hosts The Gaming Executive Summit LatAm 2011

The Gaming Executive Summit LatAm 2011 held in Panama City will be focusing on Latin American gaming industry.

Online gambling operators constantly need to learn new techniques to expand and improve their business. To keep industry current and up to date, expos and conferences take place regularly. Next event is the Gaming Executive Summit LatAm, held on Feb 22-24 in Panama City, at extravagant Marriott Panama City Hotel. This particular conference attracted close to 200 participants from 30 different countries in the past, which has proven its success.

The conference brings together senior decision-makers of both land-based and online gambling industry. This time they will discuss new opportunities in Latin American gambling jurisdiction. Due to presence of senior level managers, participants can hope to to receive answers to all types of questions.

Conference is opened by Mr. Antonio Alfaro, the President of the Asociacion de Administradores de Juego de Azar, speaking on the growth of internet gambling in Panama in particular and about the future of Latin American market in general. Mr. Francisco Ibarra, Gerente General, Junta de Proteccion Social San Jose and Mr. Tiberiu Grigorescu, Head of Business Development, Latin America, Intralot will hold a Panel session on entering the Latin markets using the example of partnership opportunities and Lotteries.

Other notable speakers include Mr. Andy Wasserman, CEO of Bwin Argentina, who will address the challenges of market monopolization, regionally customized offerings and what it takes to be a market leader. Argentinian gambling laws, as well as those of Brazil, Panama, Mexico and Chile will be discussed in order to find out Latin market potential. Discussions held later on in the day will cover topics related to gaming revenues and broadening consumer exposure to online casinos. During the second day of the conference, links between European jurisdiction and everything from poker to bingo in Argentina, Chile and Peru will be on the agenda.
