Nevada’s gambling regulator has given Real Gaming full approval to keep its online poker site in the state.

Residents of Nevada have one more option to legally play online poker in the US. After several months of running under a trial period, Real Gaming has finally been granted approval to begin full operations. Along with cash games, the company offers players a chance to participate in tournaments on both desktop and mobile devices.

Poker news sites wrote that Real Gaming’s internet traffic has been very low lately, but the operator is hoping that the approval will help increase the number of players on its online platform. The website went live in February, but in order to comply with American gambling laws the operator was required to go through a trial period before receiving full approval.

Online poker made easy

The company was originally called “South Point Poker”, but last year it decided to re-brand. Following a partnership closed with 7-Eleven stores in Nevada last month, Real Gaming customers can now make deposits onto their virtual poker accounts in-person, at the specified locations.

In order to make the service even more accessible, the operator made it possible for players to deposit at Family Dollar stores too. All customers have to do is to obtain a payment barcode from the website and print it or download it to a mobile device.

Now that Real Gaming has received its license, there are three poker sites in Nevada. Total revenues added up to $742,000 in August, which was the lowest profit since the state began to release reports in February.
