Ronaldo Gets Bluffed: Football Star Plays against Bebeto

Former Brazilian football star Ronaldo was filming a new clip for PokerStars, but he didn’t know the crew had prepared a surprise for him.

The soccer pro joined the PokerStars team a year ago and now he accepted to take part in a marketing campaign put together by the online poker site in Brazil. The company installed a special booth in a shopping mall located in Sao Paulo and invited people passing by to enjoy a quick game of poker.

Shoppers were handed a tablet and when the game was over, the crew revealed that they weren’t playing against some faceless rival, but against one of the greatest football players. Ronaldo walked up to each player to shake their hands and congratulate them.

Surprise!

As exciting as it was for people to discover they had been playing against a major football star, Ronaldo himself was in for a big surprise. According to recent gambling news, one of his opponents turned out to be fellow World Cup winner Bebeto. Watch the following video to see Ronaldo’s reaction:



The football player then took the opportunity to give his predictions for the World Cup: “In my opinion there are four teams that have a great chance to win the World Cup – Brazil, Germany, Argentina and Spain. As always the Italian team could win, they have a very strong team.”
