Ingenious App from Unibet and Sports Revolution to expand betting options for Celtic FC sports fans as well as other sports fans.

Following a recent agreement between Celtic FC, the famous football club in Scotland and Unibet, online sports betting has been made more accessible for football fans. Unibet is one of Europe’s fastest growing betting sites.
Sports Revolution, a sports media and digital marketing agency, partnered with Unibet to secure the betting app deal with the Scottish football team Celtic FC.

The system dubbed as Celticlive Wi-Fi application, developed by Sports Revolution, includes a dedicated match day application. The application is available on the Unibet site and is reachable by using FC’s live Wi-Fi-system.
Football fans have already been able to download the application since 2013. Over 50, 000 downloads of the mobile sportsbooks app have already been recorded in one year. More than 79 000 videos have been played via the application. There are almost 5 million sports fans that currently use Celtic live to share content in the social media.

Since the launch of the Celticlive Wi-Fi system a further 155 000 Celtic FC fans have registered to participate in mobile sports betting on the app. They can access live minute-by-minute statistics, photos and videos and read or leave comments.

The commercial director of Sports Revolution, Simon Hills, explained that others sports operators in the gaming industry are welcome to partner up with them. This will allow the business collaborators to access and thus offer the services to sports fans in order to create an unforgettable match day experience for them.

Hills went on to explain that apart from enjoying the match, the fans can enjoy in-running, taking advantage of the live Wi-Fi app in the stadium. Celtic Park is the first stadium to be using the Wi-Fi apps.
Other sports clubs can also play at the stadium in order to have their fans access the live Wi-Fi for online sports betting too. This means that there is ahuge potential to generate earnings by betting online through the use of the Wi-Fi app.

Ed Nicholson, who is in charge of the Unibet’s UK marketing Operations, says that the stadium’s potential to enhance live online sports betting on match day is huge.
Nicholson wants Unibet to stay competitive in the use of their hi-tech apps. He states that pitchside LED screens & concourse TV system will be used to make fans aware of the Wi-Fi application.
