Usher’s Halftime Show – Super Bowl 2024 Summary

Now that you know what happened, let’s take a look at the Halftime show. It went exactly not how we expected it to go. We feel like this was probably one of the weakest half-time shows for the Super Bowl so far. The Super Bowl halftime show was hosted by Usher. While the down-to-earth performance is pretty much his style, we missed the huge glamor his style could have given. The choreography was on the spot, the singing was also great. He did not start with “Yeah!” which for us was a huge disappointment, as we all know that the energy peaks during the beginning. Alicia Keys’s singing was better than we expected. But generally, speaking? This show was not living up to the expectations and all of the hype and preparations. If we have to rank it, it is right under Dr.Dre’s on the list.

The Advertisements

The advertisements were amazing! And of course, it is a part of our Super Bowl 2024 summary. According to CNN, the highlight was the fact that Beyoncé has announced her new album. However, for us, there was one single king when it came to the advertisement. Kanye West promoted Yeezy and his new album, Vulture. In one of the advertisements, it was just his daughter singing. On the other one, he claimed that he had spent most of the money on the placement, so he recorded his message in a low-quality vertical phone placement. There was also the Bud Light easy night out ad, and the POPEYES wait is over ads. And we even had two Reese's Cups, spiced with Booking.com. Finally, our placement for the worst among the best is the Uber Eats advertisement.

We have many more things to talk about. According to the Independent, we even saw Ryan Reynolds trolling his wife, who showed up together with Taylor Swift and Ice Spice. We have seen Taylor on the monitor several times, which we did bet on and won! But what’s next for the NFL and the Super Bowl? Well, it goes back to usual. The season has started, and we are going to see the teams playing against each other until the NFL draft begins during the summer. This is when we are going to see new players, and potentially old players getting let go. Therefore, we can expect a solid game season until the draft begins. Following the draft, we will see the fruit of the new matchups. New coaches, new players, and with that, a new energy. Let’s hope next year we will see the Ravens against the Chiefs.
