The most anticipated fight card of 2017 will soon take place, and our betting guide for UFC 214 will let you know about some of the best wagers you can make at BetVictor!

On July 29th, two of the best fighters of this generation will finally face off in a rematch 2 ½ years in the making. Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier are likely the biggest rivals in all of combat sports, and MMA fans around the world are busy making their predictions for who comes out on top.

Before the main event however, a number of important fights will be taking place across a wide range of weight classes. Tyron Woodley puts his title on the line against jiu jitsu specialist Demian Maia, two light heavyweights will be fighting for a chance to compete for the belt, and two of the best welterweights in the world will be looking to earn their way back to the top of the division.

Bet on Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier

The first fight on our betting guide for UFC 214 will be the main event. Finally, bitter rivals Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier will be competing for the second time. In the first fight, Jones was the champion and used his reach and elite wrestling to control the majority of the bout, winning a clear decision. Since then, Cormier has won the belt and successfully defended it twice with a win over Anderson Silva sandwiched in between.

Jones vs. Cormier betting odds

  • Jon Jones: 1/3
  • Daniel Cormier: 9/4

Jon Jones is arguably the best fighter of all time. Out of the cage issues has forced him to relinquish his title and sit on the sidelines, though he did compete in a grappling match win Dan Henderson and won with a quick submission. The long layoff is the x-factor here, though Jon is still coming in as the betting favorite with odds of 1/3.

Simply put, Daniel Cormier needs to win this fight in order to be viewed as the legitimate champion. Aside from the loss to Jones, DC has looked amazing in his career. In his most recent bout he submitted knockout artist Anthony Johnson. Almost all online sportsbooks in the UK list Cormier as the MMA underdog heading into this fight with odds of 9/4.

Bet on Jimi Manuwa vs. Volkan Oezdemir

Jimi Manuwa and Volkan Oezdemir kick off the main card of UFC 214 in what many MMA betting experts predict will be the fight of the night. These two men have gained a reputation for their elite striking games and will be looking to add another KO victory to their resumes.

Manuwa has had his ups and downs during his UFC run, but with two straight knockout victories he looks ready to challenge for the title. His most recent bout was likely the best of his career, a first round finish of Corey Anderson in the main event of UFC Fight Night: London. On paper, Manuwa is the most polished striker and enters this bout as the favorite with odds of 8/15.

Volkan Oezdemir burst onto the UFC scene back in February with a decision victory over Ovince St. Preux. Fans and analysts were skeptical of his number 5 ranking after that victory, though he proved he belonged by making UK gambling news with a first round KO over fellow prospect Misha Cirkunov. A betting guide for UFC 214 has to include a few promising underdogs, and a bet on Oezedmir to beat Manuwa could pay off as his odds to win are set at 6/4.

Bet on Tyron Woodley vs. Demian Maia

The co main event of UFC 214 will feature a welterweight title fight between champion Tyron Woodley and top ranked contender Demian Maia. This is a massive clash of styles, and our betting guide for UFC 214 will let you know the best path to victory for each man.

Woodley is a powerhouse. The wrestler-turned knockout artist has defended his title twice now, both in close matches with Stephen Thompson. He’s only been taken down a few times in his career, and if he can keep this fight on the feet he has a real shot at getting the stoppage against Maia. BetVictor lists Woodley’s odds to beat Maia at 8/15.

The most dominant grappler in MMA has finally received his shot at the title. It took Demian Maia seven straight victories to his shot, most recently over the extremely dangerous Jorge Masvidal. Maia will likely need to get the fight to the mat in order to win, which will be a struggle against a wrestler like Woodley. Maia’s odds to beat Woodley are set at 6/4.

Our betting guide for UFC 214 is now complete. The card will officially begin on July 29th, so head to BetVictor today and start placing your bets!
