The most exciting month in college sports is just around the corner. A number of talented players will be taking part from all over the country. How many could go on to make in impact in the NBA? In this article we take a look at some players you need to keep an eye on during March Madness.

West Region: Jonathan Isaac

Florida State’s most exciting young player is without a doubt Freshman Jonathan Isaac. The 19 year old 6 foot 11 inch forward is tremendously athletic for his size, and plays at his best when he’s being assertive. He’s already leading the Seminole’s in shooting percentage, and is currently ranked 7th out of all NCAA first year players.


There are some rumblings about Isaac possibly being drafted to the Mavericks. He would certainly make a good addition to that team, but for now he’s one of the top players to watch during 2017 March Madness. When Isaac is at his best, the Seminole’s are a tough team to beat. Perhaps because of his ability, they are inching towards the top of the NCAAB Championship betting odds to win at 34.00, according to Intertops.

Midwest Region: Monte Morris

East Region: Luke Kennard

Despite entering into Duke as the team’s fifth option, Kennard has risen to become one of the top players to watch during 2017 March Madness. This young player is currently averaging 20.1 points per game on 50% shooting.


Duke may be the best team in 2017 college basketball at the moment, and Kennard is a massive reason for that. Most online sportsbooks in the US now list Duke as a huge betting favorite to win with odds of 11.00.
