Online gaming software creator Realistic Games receives license from UK Gambling Commission to release new titles.

Realistic Games is among the first slots and table game developers to have been approved a license. The firm has received a Remote Gambling Software Operating License after meeting requirement set by the Gambling Commission of UK.

When the new Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act comes into force starting October 1, Realistic Games and only a select few companies will be able to offer their gaming services. The new UK gambling law states that operators that facilitate gambling services to UK residents from a remote location have to hold a UK license.

Commercial director expressed his satisfaction with possessing the license

Realistic Games’ commercial director, Andy Harris, highlighted that securing the necessary license in appropriate time will prove to serve the customers and all other interested parties. “There are many things for our customers to attend to as a result of the introduction of the Act, so getting our licensing in place early gives them one less thing to worry about.”

According to gambling news, Harris also indicated that the company hopes to appeal to their large customer base by being ready to give the necessary services. “Furthermore, we hope that it provides potential customers with another positive reason to choose Realistic Games as a new supplier partner.”

“This license represents a significant step for us. We’ve worked closely with the Gambling Commission throughout the application process & have now passed the most stringent tests of probity and due diligence.”
