A new record was established last week at Dusk Till Dawn and now the PokerStars UK team is preparing for its first ever PLO event.

The next stop for the PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) is the Live Room at the Hippodrome Casino in London. The fancy British poker room will be hosting Britain’s first Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) event on Friday, May 23.

The competition will last three days and offers poker pros the chance to play for a reasonable buy-in of GBP 250+25. With stacks starting at 20,000 chips and a half-hour clock, the prize pool should reach a pretty impressive amount. Players who bust out early will have the chance to re-entry each day.

Qualify online for the UKIPT

Players interested in joining the tournament can still qualify on PokerStars’ online poker sites in the UK. Qualifiers are up and running and there are $55 satellites every day at 20.17. Feeder events start from just $0.22.

Another option for those who want to join is the live GBP 35+5 satellite schedules for Friday 23rd May and starting at 7.30 pm. Players start with stacks of 5,000 chips, with a 15-minute clock. They’re also allowed one re-buy or add on.

Full Tilt Ambassadors Sin Melin and Martins Adeniya have already confirmed they will be present at the big event.
