British gambling enterprise William Hill continues to increase its presence on US market with the Plaza Casino’s sportsbook deal.

William Hill, renowned British land-based and online gambling giant exercised its ownership rights of Brandywine Bookmaking in the USA to reach an agreement with Las Vegas Plaza Casino’s sportsbook.

Under the terms of the deal, Will Hill will completely upgrade and renew land-based and mobile sports betting services offered by Plaza Casino’s sportsbook in full compliance with American gambling laws. The long-term plans include a set of upgrades such as video displays and seats, and an uplift to the next door bar area.

In terms of the Plaza’s online offerings, William Hill is expected to provide customers of one of online sportsbooks in United States with full access to its gaming software and technology.

Will Hill will also offer access to its mobile sports betting app, the only application approved in Nevada to provide wagering options on Android, iOS, and BlackBerry smartphones.

CEO of William Hill US, Joe Asher, had the following comments for United States gambling news: “The Plaza race and sportsbook is known for its terrific customer service and wagering product. We look forward to enhancing the experience with an even better wagering product and great technology.”

President of Play LV, Plaza Hotel and Casino operator, Tony Santo, also commented the new agreement: ”William Hill’s technology will improve the customer experience at the property.”

The move is widely regarded as an early attempt by William Hill to establish a sizable presence on the United States gambling market ahead of the inevitable change in regulation, which will legalize online gambling in the country.

The British gambling giant is not the only company to target US market with local agreements, many online and land-based gambling operators are flocking to the USA to find partners within the country.
