He’s the one picking which players to sign for the team, he’s the one hiring coaches for the players, he’s the one making sure that the players live in comfortable houses, with stable and secure internet and everything else you can imagine. Their job is pretty much making gamers happy.

The manager is the linking bridge between the club owners and the team players and the staff. It’s important that the manager understands what the owners hope to achieve and can clearly transmit those wishes to those working for the club. Who works for eSports teams apart from them?

Obviously, the owners decide about the most important stuff in the life of an eSports organization. Starting from which competitions to run, all through which players and/or coaches to sign, it’s all the responsibilities of the team owners and the directive board. They basically run the eSports organizations.

They are the ones building the strategy of the eSports organization, they are the ones setting up marketing and competitive goals, they build network within the industry, make partnership and sponsorship deals and so on. The owner has the final word when it comes to important decisions.
