Here we will break down some of the biggest UFC fights to bet on this year, and list which fighters are entering as the favorites and underdogs.

We’re not even halfway through 2017, and a number of massive fights have taken place. Some massively important fights are scheduled to take place in the near future, and the best place to bet on all the action is Intertops. Let’s take a look at the odds for some upcoming match ups.

Bet on Michael Bisping vs. Yoel Romero

According to UFC President Dana White, the previously announced bout between current middleweight champ Michael Bisping and George St. Pierre will not be taking place after all. George stated he will be ready to fight by the end of the year, but White was adamant that unless he’s ready by the summer time, the fight is off. And so Yoel Romero is now in one of the biggest fights to bet on in 2017.

Despite his ripe age of 40, Yoel Romero remains one of the most athletic fighters we’ve seen compete inside the UFC. The Cuban wrestler has now racked up 8 straight fights inside the octagon, 6 of which have come via KO or TKO. In his most recent bout, Yoel stopped Chris Weidman with a flying knee in the third round. Romero has a perfect style to give Bisping problems, and comes in as the MMA betting favorite with odds of 1.33.

Bisping has taken his fair share of criticism for even taking the GSP fight, but who could blame him? It’s a fight he’s more likely to win and the much more lucrative option. Unfortunately, he’ll need to take on Yoel now, and most MMA betting experts are picking him to lose. Still, Bisping is one of the toughest fighters in the game, and is a great option here with odds of 3.25.

Bet on Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 3

Although news recently broke that Conor McGregor officially signed the contract to take on Floyd Mayweather later this year, it’s still very possible he gets matched up with Nate Diaz to settle their 1-1 score. The trilogy fight is one of the biggest fights to bet on this year, and even the best online sportsbooks in the US are having a tough time predicting the winner.

More fights you can bet on at Intertops
  • Conor Mcgregor (2.20) vs. Tyron Woodley (1.66)
  • Cody Garbrandt (1.74) vs. TJ Dillashaw (2.05)
  • Jose Aldo (1.71) vs. Max Holloway (2.10)
Conor McGregor has been out of action since his thrilling victory over Eddie Alvarez back in November. His wife recently had a baby, and most MMA news sites are beginning to realize that the fight with Mayweather will actually happen. If he takes on Diaz later, he’ll need to follow a similar game plan as he did in their second fight. Conor showed his superior boxing game there, but began to take some punishment as the fight progressed.

Nate Diaz has also been outside the cage for some time now. He still maintains he won the second McGregor fight, and recently told Ariel Helwani he feels the 3rd fight will eventually happen. Diaz is the only fighter to defeat Conor in the UFC, but is still the considerable underdog for the 3rd bout according to Intertops with odds of 2.65.

These are two of the biggest fights to bet on this year, but some other major bouts will likely be announced over the next several months. Make sure to follow GamingZion’s US gambling news page to stay up to date on everything related to betting on MMA in 2017!
