Chaos and Astralis Lead the 2020 DreamHack Masters Winter Odds

Four DreamHack Masters regional tournaments are just around the corner. They are about to kick off on November 30. The most anticipated ones are Europe and North America.  The Danish powerhouses Astralis and Heroic are headlining the 2020 DreamHack Masters winter odds for Europe. Whereas Chaos and TeamOne have once in a lifetime chance to become the best CSGO teams in America.  DreamHack Masters is returning with a winter version split across four online regional tournaments. As per online sportsbook news in Denmark, the tournaments are taking place between November 30 and December 06. The total prize pool of $250,000 is on the line, with the lion’s share going to Europe and North America. 32 teams around the world are competing, 16 in Europe, eight in North America, and four in both Asia and Oceania. A ton of high-level action is expected to click on with all top tier teams looking to capture the Christmas present of the DreamHack trophy. Despite naming the tournament as European, it is fully international. The usual top contenders in Europe, Astralis, Heroic, and G2 are welcoming the leaders of North America including  Evil Geniuses, Furia, and Liquid. The competition will feature two eight-team groups, with four from each group advancing to the playoffs. The grand-final will be played in a lengthy best-of-five for a prize pool of $150,000. Evil Genuises (8.00) and Team Liquid (11.00) have the ability to go all the way, despite their recent setbacks.

The tournament will be very different this year, as all top tier teams are competing in Europe. Thus, the usual underdogs have a great chance to prevail including Chaos ranked 19 and TeamOne ranked 24. the schedule and format are similar to Europe but only eight teams are competing for a prize pool of $70,000. Chaos (2.50) is the only team that has been challenging the elite teams. However, Chaos never won a major trophy but this time it seems closer than ever. Should Chaos miss the precious opportunity TeamOne (5.00) will likely be ready to take over. After all, TeamOne had beaten Chaos at IEM New York.
