Three rookie drivers are going to show off their talent on the grid this season. These rookies are Schumacher, Mazepin, and Tsunoda. Although it is hard to see a rookie challenging upfront against legendary drivers such as Hamilton and Verstappen, it is not impossible. Will anyone of the three be able to compete for a spot at the top of the table? According to the 2021 F1’s rookies odds, it is unlikely. But, much can change from now until the end of the season.

Three new talents coming through the ranks will compete at Formula One, as online sportsbook news sites in Japan reported. They are Hass drivers Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, and AlphTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda. All three drivers have had an impressive run at F2 in 2020, and they look capable of creating major headlines. However, being a rookie driver competing at F1 is a double-edged sword. If success comes as Hamilton did in 2007, then the F1 career is set for a long time. But, if failure hits, an exit of the entire world-class competitive racing is highly possible. So, we are about to see three drivers not only aiming to make a first good impression but also trying to save their future careers. As 2021 F1’s rookies odds show, all three drivers do not have a big chance to start on a high note, given their lack of experience, obviously. But, if we look at Hamilton’s debut year of 2007, he won four races and finished second in the championship. What is more, Hamilton dominated the next year winning his first title. Will anyone of the rookies achieve more than Hamilton in their debut year? Here is our analysis.

Tsunoda leads 2021 F1’s rookies odds

The 20-year-old Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda joined the AlphaTauri team to become the new partner of Pierre Gasly. He is trying to break through the F1 after racing just one year at F2. Tsunoda did not need a lot of time to make impressive performances at any stage. He has been extremely quick to jump into the forefront of any championship. Last year, despite having an F2 debut, he was able to win three races and finish third overall.

It may be surprising to see Tsunoda holding on to such great achievements, yet receiving so little coverage. The presence of many superstars around him might be the reason. That should give him a lot of space to focus and learn quickly at F1. Besides, Tsunoda has a great car, which can compete at the highest level. If you fancy placing a bet on upsets, you can choose Tsunoda with 201.00 at 888sport, to break the record and win the championship.

Schumacher won both F2 and F3

Looking at the 2021 F1’s rookies odds, Mick Schumacher is the biggest name among all three drivers. One reason of course is that he happens to share the surname of one of the greatest drivers of all time. The other reason is that he is joining F1 after claiming the F2 title in 2020. Not to mention, that Schumacher previously also won Formula 3. Schumacher proved to be a calculated driver, who works immensely hard. He has all that it takes to be seen as a legitimate contender, with a 1001.00 value to win it all. However, one main thing that will likely prevent him from achieving big this season is Haas' car. Haas still face many issues and it is hard to see them fix it all during the season.

Mazepin is an aggressive and experienced driver

Schumacher's teammate at Haas, the 22-year-old Russian Nikita Mazepin should not be underestimated. He is at the bottom of the 2021 F1’s rookies odds list, with a 1001.00 value according to online sportsbooks in Japan. However, he is aggressive and experienced. He moved up to F1 after winning two races last year and finishing fifth in the F2 campaign.

Mazepin may surprise us all and show great competitiveness. But similar to Schumacher his team has car issues. Thus, it is hard to predict he will come up on top of the table. If you wish to see all the best Formula One odds for the 2021 season, you can check out the review about 888sport.
