  • 2021 NASCAR Cup Series starts with Daytona 500 on 14th of February
  • 26 races are scheduled for regular season and 10 events for the playoff
  • Chase Elliott is the defending champion and one of the top favorites again
After last season’s excitement and an unpredictable final result, NASCAR fans can’t wait to see their favorite car racing series to be back again. The new season will start on the 14th of February with the famous Daytona 500 race and should conclude on the 7th of November. We can find defending champion Chase Elliott in the favorites of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series winner odds. Let’s see his and the other main drivers’ chances now.  The 2020 NACAR Cup Series brought several big surprises like the early elimination of the defending champion Kyle Busch. While the winner of the regular season, Kevin Harvick couldn’t qualify for the final either. But 24-year-old Chase Elliott achieved the biggest result. Not only getting into but also winning the final at Phoenix Raceway. He won his first Cup series title and will try to defend it this season. Certainly he will face a tough competition from other top drivers in the new season. The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series will begin with two special events in Daytona before the first real race, the Daytona 500 taking place on the 14th of February. Where we should already see a great race between the big favorites. 25 more events are scheduled to take place in the regular season ending at the end of August. 10 more races are part off the playoffs with the season finale being held in Phoenix on the 7th of November.

2021 NASCAR Cup Series winner odds mention several favorites

Online sportsbooks in the US can’t decide on a clear winner and offer similar odds for several drivers. Still, the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kevin Harvick is slightly favored from them with the odds of +500. The 45-year-old from California had a great season last year and won the regular season. But in the playoff his form declined and couldn’t qualify for the final. It was a disappointing end of his season after dominating all year but it can motivate him for an even better result this time.

Meanwhile, last season’s champion, Chase Elliott can be fueled by his great finish and go for more victories in 2021. The young driver won four races in the playoff. Including the final in Phoenix where he led 153 laps. He became the third youngest driver to win the Cup following his father, Bill Elliott’s footsteps, who won the series in 1988. Elliott is driving one of the best cars in the field, the Chevrolet Camaro for Hendrick Motorsports. And he has the odds of +600 in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series winner odds.

Hamlin, Logano and Busch can all win the title

Danny Hamlin finished fourth last season but he was also driving superbly the whole year. After winning seven races and getting 18 top-five finishes. His best result in the championship is a second-place finish in 2010 so far. But Hamlin has featured in the playoffs in all of his full-time seasons. He is one of the most reliable drivers of the fiend who can start his season with another Daytona 500 win.  While his odds to win his first NASCAR Cup series title is also +600.  Online gambling sites in the US also mention Joey Logano with the same odds to win his second title. The Team Penske driver finished third last year but won the series in 2018. His teammate is Brad Keselowksi, who finished just ahead of him, in 2nd place, making it the strongest team in the championship. We should also mention the two-time NASCAR Cup series champion in the favorites, Kyle Busch who wasn’t too convincing last season though. He only got one victory and was eliminated after the round of 12.  But his end of the season was definitely promising and could be a good sign for the Toyota driver. Now Busch can show his strength and go for another title. His odds to achieve that is also +600 on BetOnline.
