So far, defending champions Tasman lead the title race with the best 2021 NPC Premiership betting odds to win. Let’s see how their odds of winning stand against the other top Premierships clubs on Bet365 Sportsbook:

Club Odds of winning
Tasman 4.25
Auckland 4.60
Canterbury 6.25
Wellington 6.25
Bay of Plenty 8.50
Waikato 8.50
Hawke’s Bay 11.00

Tasman have the 2021 NPC Premiership betting odds to defend their title

Without a doubt, all eyes will be on Tasman this season as they look to defend their National Provincial Championship title. So far, they are on track to achieving this because they are the favorites from the Premiership to win the grand final.

In addition to the club’s 2020 NPC victory, Tasman also won the competition in 2019. So now, they’ll be looking to record an impressive third straight win. At this time, Tasman have the best Bet365 Sportsbook 2021 NPC Premiership betting odds of achieving this at 4.25.

Auckland look to add to their impressive trophy cabinet

This season, Auckland are another club to keep an eye out for at the National Provincial Championship. What’s more, it’s easy to see why. Overall, Auckland are the most successful club in the NPC, with a whopping 17 titles. However, the last time they won the title was in 2018.

Fast forward to 2021, and the club are favorites from the Premiership to win the grand final. According to Bet365 Sportsbook, Auckland have the second-best odds to win the 2021 NPC grand final at 4.60.

Canterbury (4.60) also find themselves in the same position on the online sportsbooks in New Zealand to win the NPC. Similar to Auckland, Canterbury also have an impressive NPC record with 14 titles. Now, the Premiership club have a good chance to secure a 15th NPC title this season.

Can’t wait to see how this will shake out

Wellington are desperate to end their trophy drought

Currently, Wellington are the third most successful club in the National Provincial Championship with four titles. However, the last time they last won the competition was way back in 2000. As a result, they won’t settle for anything less than the NPC title this season.

At this time, Wellington have odds at 6.25 to win the 2021 NPC. So, they’ll have to give their all if they are to end their trophy drought this year. Next, Bay of Plenty are among the Premiership clubs eyeing this season’s National Provincial Championship grand final win.

Since their 1979 victory, Bay of Plenty have failed to add to their NPC trophy cabinet. This time around, with 2021 NPC Premiership odds at 8.50, it’s likely that their losing streak will continue this season.

Another Premiership club that has unfavorable odds to win this season’s title is Waikato. They will be looking to return to winning ways after last winning the NPC in 2006. However, their odds on Bet365 Sportsbook suggest that they’ll likely struggle throughout the season.

As a result, Waikato (8.50) should focus on avoiding relegation to the Championship.

The NPC Premiership betting odds don’t foresee a win for newly promoted side Hawke’s Bay

Last but not least, Hawke’s Bay are another Premiership club eyeing the NPC title. Since they have gained promotion to the Premiership, they will be under pressure to make a great first impression. The only way they can achieve this is by winning this year’s National Provincial Championship.

According to the online sportsbook news in New Zealand, Hawke’s Bay currently have the worst odds to win the NPC this year. So, with 2021 NPC Premiership betting odds at 6.25, Hawke’s Bay pose as risky bets on Bet365 Sportsbook.
