A Week Full of Exciting Poker Tournaments

Poker lovers are having an exciting week with a number of interesting poker tournaments in Australia, France and the US – Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Coconut Creek and Robinsonville are happening this week.

Three continents are hosting fabulous poker tournaments this week, which will definitely make some people richer, some will be convinced that they didn’t have enough luck and some will just be honest with themselves and go back to practicing this exciting game.

The first one of the tournaments is the 2014 Asia Pacific Poker Tour “Aussie Millions” (January 23 – February 10) hosted in the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. It is planned to continue with the 16th annual Aussie Millions, which is part of the PokerStars Asia-Pacific Poker Tour in 2014 for the first time.

The highlight this week is the $10,600 no-limit hold’em main event which starts on February 2nd at 2:15 pm local time with the first of three starting days. It is important to be noted that Days 1B and 1C start two hours earlier, at 12:15 pm.

Europe also hosts a tournament this week

Poker lovers are having an exciting time with several big poker tournaments happening this week:

- In Australia
- In France
- In the USA – Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Coconut Creek and Robinsonville
The 2014 European Poker Tour “Deauville” (January 22 – February 1) is taking place in Casino Barriere de Deauville in France. It is an impressive 45-event series of the European Poker Tour’s 10th season.

It is worth mentioning that all non-French players should provide a Passport or Barriere CasinoPass Card in order to be able to enter the casino.

The highlight of the whole festival is the EUR 5,300 EPT no-limit hold’em main event, which kicked off on Sunday, January 26th with the first of two starting days beginning at noon local time.

For everyone who is more adventurous, willing to play higher and show off their skills acquired in French poker rooms, there is a also a EUR 10,300 no-limit hold’em eight-max high roller event that begins on January 30th at 1:00 pm local time.

USA hosts thrilling WPT in L.A.

2014 World Poker Tour “L.A. Poker Classic” (January 17 – March 6) gigantic 60-event tournament series started last week at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, California. This huge poker festival welcomes different level players who get together to enjoy and compare their skills, all ready to win big.

The highlight of this week is a $350 no-limit hold’em event that offers a $100,000 guarantee. The single-day event starts on February 1st at 1:00 pm local time. The no-limit hold’em double stack turbo events will happen between February 4th and 8th with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000.

Other interesting event from this tournament is the hold’em double stack with $570 buy-ins, happening on 14th and 15th February. Even more exciting seems to be the Playboy $500,000 guarantee event with $1,600 buy-in, taking place between 20th and 22nd February.

The WPT L.A. Poker Classic Main Event comprises of five days – 1st to 6th March with the Final table starting at 4.00 pm local time on March 6th.

Las Vegas is once more a hot hub for poker lovers

There are two fascinating tournament in Las Vegas this week. The first one is the 2014 Deepstack Extravaganza I (January 30 – February 26), taking place in the Venetian Hotel and Casino Las Vegas and complying fully with the American gambling laws.

The initial offering consisting of as many as 56 events spread throughout the month of February with $1,100,000 in guaranteed prize pools. The series start this week, with the early highlight being a $100,000 guaranteed $400 no-limit hold’em event that begins with the first of two starting days at noon on January 30th.

The second one is the 2014 Bellagio $25K High Roller (February 1) in Bellagio Hotel and Casino. This location has long been the home to some of the biggest cash games and tournament actions in the world.

It is a well known fact that the mythical Bellagio has awarded more than $432,000,000 in tournament payouts in its history, which is the second biggest figure among all the casinos in the world. Bellagio will continue the high stakes action tradition by hosting a $25,000 buy-in High Roller no-limit hold’em event, starting at 2:00 pm PST.

Florida and Robinsonville are the last two US poker tour stops for the week

2014 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open (January 29 – February 11) in Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, in Coconut Creek, Florida hosts the 14-event Lucky Hearts Poker Open. The $560 no-limit hold’em event features a $300,000 guarantee and five starting flights. The five series’ $1 million guaranteed WPT main event will take place between 7th and 11th February.

Last but not least is the 2014 World Series of Poker Circuit Tunica (January 23 – February 3) in the Harrah’s Tunica, in Robinsonville, Mississippi, which already launched its 12-event WSOP Circuit series. It is also coming closer to the centerpiece of the whole tournament: the marquee $1,675 no-limit hold’em main event, which gets underway with the first of two starting days at noon local time on January 31st.
