Betfair and PaddyPower Revenue Soaring Post-Merger

Both Betfair and PaddyPower revenue growth is continuing to grow more than a year after the two betting powerhouses merger.
Two of the biggest UK sports betting sites, PaddyPower and Betfair, officially merged in February of last year. It appears that was a wise decision, as the two company’s revenue has been skyrocketing as of late.
In a end of the year report, it was revealed that the newly merged Betfair PaddyPower revenue increased by 18% to £1.55 billion including massive growth among their various platforms including online casino and poker.
"2016 was a transformational year for Paddy Power Betfair with much of the integration of the businesses completed sooner and more efficiently than expected,” Breon Corcoran, chief executive of the company said. The “transformational” period of the merger is over, and 2017 will be a year to focus further on Betfair-PaddyPower revenue growth and expansion.
