Here we take a look at the top 4 best players in the Final Four, and discuss their chances of being drafted into the NBA.

On April 1st, the Final Four teams in the 2017 NCAAB Tournament will compete for their chance to make it into the finals. We recently covered the betting odds for the games, and in this article we’ll take a look at some of the top players to watch.

Jordan Bell: Oregon

Skepticism over how Oregon could perform without Chris Boucher was high heading into the tournament, but Jordan Bell quickly erased the doubt thanks to his incredible performances over each tournament game. His coming out party may have been in the matchup against Kansas, where he managed to record eight blocks to help Oregon win 74-60.

Jordan has also been impressive with his shooting game, averaging 12.5 points per game during March Madness. This well-rounded ability makes him one of the best players in the Final Four, and has many predicting he could soon make a move to the NBA. With more incredible performances in this tournament he could be a first round pick, but at the moment he seems like a shoe-in for a second round pick.

Tyler Dorsey: Oregon

  • North Carolina: 2.40
  • Gonzaga: 2.50
  • Oregon: 5.50
  • South Carolina: 7.50

While Jordan Bell is clearly the top defensive player on Oregon, Tyler Dorsey has emerged as the team’s top scorer. He’s scored at least 24 points in each tournament game thus far, with a 1.92 field-goal average.

Not only is Dorsey one of the best players in the Final Four this year, he’s also proven to be good on the microphone, which can be an important factor in getting signed to the NBA. He gave an emotional, inspirational speech after Oregon’s win over Kansas, stating “We been the underdogs all three games, and that’s the mentality we take … I’m just happy for my teammates. We work so hard for this, and we left it all on the floor.” Nevertheless, Oregon is still a considerable Final Four betting underdog against North Carolina with odds of 2.75, according to Intertops.

Sindarius Thornwell: South Carolina

Not many basketball betting experts were paying attention to Sindarius Thornwell before the NCAA Tournament. They certainly are now, as he’s now arguably the best Final Four player today. He’s leading the entire tournament in scores with a 25.8 average points per game, and his defense has been key to South Carolina’s success.

Of all the teams in the Final Four, South Carolina was the most unexpected. Their odds to win the tournament were set at 201.00 at the beginning of the tournament, but they’ve managed to make US gambling news with some massive wins. Sindarius Thornwell has gotten the attention of NBA scouts, and may very well be a first round draft pick.

Justin Jackson: North Carolina

North Carolina is considered by most to be the best team in the Final Four, and Justin Jackson is the team’s best player. He’s averaging 18.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. At 6’8”, he’s one of the most physically gifted players in the tournament, and is seen as a potential lottery pick by many basketball analysts.

At just 22 years of age, Jackson still has time to grow. He’s already considered to be one of the best players in the Final Four, and is perhaps the biggest reason why nearly all online sportsbooks in the US list North Carolina as the betting favorite to win the NCAA Tournament with odds of 2.40.
