The inaugural season of the new franchised competition, Call of Duty League is intensifying. Three top American teams, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas are a little bit ahead of the rest. We think now is the perfect time to place your Call of Duty League betting. Should you pick an outright winner go with Dallas Empire to make an upset.

The first season of Call of Duty League is running between January 24 – July 26, 2020. 12 pro teams each with a roster of seven to ten players are competing in a point-system tournament. By the end of the 22 competitive weeks, the top eight teams, including 4 wild card spots will advance to the playoffs. The league will be followed by Call of Duty League Championship with a total prize pool of $6 million.

According to online sportsbook news sites in the United States, the league was supposed to visit all cities of the participating teams. But, with the coronavirus outbreak, LAN events were canceled and they were replaced with online play. There are still months to come for an outright winner to be named, but you can already place Call of Duty League betting on the winner. Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas lead the pack with a strong performance. However, the undeniable talent of the Dallas team has a good chance to win it all.

Dallas Empire has an impressive roster

The Dallas based team owned by Envy Gaming has a mix of experience and new blood, which is refreshing. Ian “Crimisix” Porter, who won more trophies than any other player is on Dallas Empire’s side. He is the vocal leader of the team alongside James “Clayster” Eubanks. The team with an official color of gold and black is currently in third place with 80 points, 10 points shy from the top spot. However, many online sportsbooks in the United States have suggested Dallas is more vicious online than on LAN events. So, with the changing format to online play, you can place your Call of Duty League betting on Dallas to jump to the top spot with +450 odds at Unibet Sportsbook

Chicago Huntsmen neck and neck with Atlanta

The team owned by NRG Esports is neck and neck with Atlanta FaZe. Chicago picked up 90 points as for now and went 8-1 overall. The brown-and-green Chicago Huntsmen has brought in the star of OpTic Gaming, Seth “Scump” Abner. Scump spent eight years with OpTic and won many titles. On paper, Chicago Huntsmen is a very strong team, therefore the odds are +300 for Chicago to win the title. However, the team did not face any top tier contenders yet, with most wins coming against teams sitting in the bottom. So, Chicago might have a chance but the team needs to prove itself first.

Atlanta FaZe holds the top spot

Atlanta FaZe sits on the top spot with 90 points. The team has gone 8-1 overall as for now, with the first loss to come at the hands of Minnesota ROKKR after four events. Atlanta came to live after Atlanta Esports Ventures partnered with FaZe Clan, the iconic Call of Duty team. As FaZe has grown to become one of the most successful gaming organizations in the world, it is no surprise that Atlanta might win the title with +160 odds. However, you should keep in mind that Atlanta players do not have the accolades that players with Chicago and Dallas have.
