Rumours that Arturo Vidal could be leaving Munich have been circling around for several months now, with Chelsea, Inter, and AC Milan all interested. On the Bayern side, Vidal has shown no indication that he wants to leave the Bavarian capital. Should you bet on Vidal to leave Munich before January transfer window closes?

Arturo has flourished from Santiago’s backstreets to the Bundesliga, where he now plays a key role under Jupp Heynckes. His endless search for success has earned him the nickname ‘el Guerrero’, the Warrior, and that’s why Bayern fans are very keen to see him stay around at Allianz Arena for many more years. However, his success with Bayern in the past two years made many top European clubs attempt to sign him. Would any team succeed to bet on Vidal to leave Munich during the January transfer window?

Why not to bet on Vidal to Leave Munich?

According to online sportsbooks in Germany, the 30-year-old Chile international has reigned supreme in the middle of the park for Bayern since 2015. He is contracted to Bayern Munich until 2019, but the savior of Bayern Jupp Heynckes insists the player will not be allowed to leave the club anytime soon especially not during winter break.

When Jupp Heynckes took charge, Vidal was set to play in the last chance saloon. Thus after a string of impressive performances Heynckes placed him back in the starting line-up, and his place now is virtually untouchable. By the end of the season’s halftime Vidal scored five goals and produced two goal assists in Bundesliga.

Who plots winter move for Vidal?

Arturo Vidal Transfer

Antonio Conte

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has added a new fuel to the spreading rumours in the last couple of weeks. Vidal found himself linked with a move to Chelsea, where he would be reunited with Antonio Conte who coached the midfielder at Juventus between 2011 and 2014. Conte praised the Bayern Munich midfielder on a press conference wanting Vidal to move to Stamford Bridge. Some rumours even claim that the Blues are prepared to pay a salary worth £250.000 a week.

The Chile international has been also linked with a return to Serie A including Inter Milan and Juventus. Other online sportsbook news expect Real Madrid to make a move out of a need to come out with a solution for the current crisis, but we all know that Zidane closed the door of January transfer window.
