The best four teams of the 2020-21 EHF women’s Champions League will meet next weekend in Budapest, Hungary. The EHF Women’s CL Final Four predictions favor the Hungarian champions to win again but all teams will aim for the trophy.

After the cancellation of last year’s tournament fans can watch the best teams again in the Women’s Champions League Final Four next weekend in the Laszlo Papp Sports Arena. Even though there is no defending champion, Gyori Eto feels like one after winning the title three years in a row between 2017 and 2019. They are the biggest favorites again, playing on home soil in front of local fans. They will face debutant Brest in the semi-final who managed to draw three times with them this season. While in the other semi-final CSKA have also reached the final four for the first time.  They will play against Norwegian 2018 bronze medalist Vipers Kristiansand.

Gyori Eto are favored to win the title in the EHF Women’s CL Final Four predictions

The 15-time Hungarian champion, Gyori Audi Eto is one of the greatest women’s handball teams of recent years. They won the Champions League five times in the last decade and also reached the final three more times. Surely they will aim for another trophy in front of the Hungarian fans as the final four is held in Budapest. Ambros Martin, their old-new coach, took over the lead from Gabor Danyi a few weeks ago. It was a sudden move from the club but might prove to be a wise decision. As Eto have already won the Hungarian Cup with Martin last weekend, defeating big rival Ferencvaros in the semi-final.

Now they will face French Brest Bretagne in the Champions League semi-final with the odds of 1.13 to win the game. But it won’t be an easy match as Brest have been playing in great form this season. They knocked out Team Esbjerg then the other French team Metz. They’ve reached the final four for the first time in the club’s history. Brest have the top scorer of the 2020-21 season, Ana Gros in their squad. But she might not be enough against the top favorites. Who have some of the best players, like Anita Gorbicz, Eduarda Amorim or Stine Bredal Oftedal in the team. No wonder that online sportsbooks in Hungary favor Eto to win the title with the odds of 1.61 in the EHF Women’s CL Final Four predictions.

Tight game is expected between Vipers and CSKA

In the other semi-final we can find another familiar name, Norwegian Vipers Kristiansand. Who finished third in the 2018-19 Champions League season. Now they can get an even better result if they beat Russian CSKA Moscow first. They have the odds of 1.52 on bet365 to do so. Vipers started the season with mixed results and only finished fifth in their group. But then they knocked out Danish side Odense and Russian Rostov-Don to reach the last four again. It is already a great result from the team where major changes were going on before the season.

The team is based on Norwegian players, like Nora Molk and Heidi Loke who have the experience to lead the team to the final. Meanwhile online gambling sites in Hungary offer the odds of 2.40 for CSKA’s victory. The Russian team reached the final four for the first time after defeating CSM Bucuresti in a very tight quarter-final. Now they will face another tough opponent in Vipers. Their new coach and former top player Olga Akopian might come up with some great moves. Their players like Jelena Mihajlicsenko and Darja Dmitrijeva can be key in the victory. Just as their goalkeeper, Anna Sedoykina who also plays for the Russian national team.
