Italian junior world and European shooting champion Cristian Ghilli died recently. The 19-year-old athlete was on a hunting trip with friends around Pisa, but it ended tragically.

Former American football player Edwin Jackson was hit on a highway in Indiana. Jackson was only 26 when he died at the side of an interstate. They had to stop the car because he became ill, and while standing next to it, a truck slammed into it, hitting Edwin fatally.

A police investigation concluded that the young athlete had been attacked and lost her life during a struggle. Authorities have arrested a 22-year-old man as the suspected murderer. Celia Barquín Arozamena was an acknowledged golfer by the sport. She won the European Ladies Amateur Championship, qualified for the US Open, and won a medal at the Women’s College Golf Championships. She would have graduated as a civil engineer soon, and her career as a pro golfer was just about to take off.

The 24-year-old baseball player met with an unfortunate boating accident off the coast of Miami with two of his friends. The Coast Guard found their speedboat turned upside down on a cliff far from the coast.
