A truly unique event will be hosted during the Global Gaming Expo (G2E). The world renowned online gambling software provider GTECH G2 will offer all US gaming operators a chance to win a free online play-for-fun platform, including web-design, installation and special services package.
The Expo is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, October 1-4 and will, naturally, focus on the issue of American gambling laws and their changes in order to liberalize the market.
GTECH G2 will be hosting the first event of its kind in the history of American poker rooms in order to attract much needed attention to the matter on every operator’s mind.
The tournament is open to all employees of licensed US tribal and commercial casinos. The first 83 poker fans to register will receive a seat and $5,000 worth of free play chips. The remaining places will be decided live during a special draw, which will take place on the SPIELO International booth, a place where GTECH G2 and SPIELO are expected to present their join gaming product.
The tournament itself will be played on the GTECH G2 Poker platform featuring nine 30-minute hellcat/turbo poker games.
President and CEO of GTECH G2 and SPIELO, Walter Bugno, told United States gambling news: “Never before has there been an opportunity for operators to enter a competition like this. We are closer than ever to regulated iGaming in the US and this competition provides the most unique of opportunities for employees to make the difference at their organization by helping to secure their company’s entry into the world of iGaming – for free.”
GTECH G2 VP, William Scott, also shared his thoughts: “There can be no underestimating the power of play for fun products. With the ever-increasing rise in recreational play, they form a vital role in a gaming portfolio. We feel our play for fun poker platform is second-to-none and we are giving the industry the chance to see for itself with this innovative competition.”
He went on to add: “Nothing like this has been done before, we are extremely excited about the tournament and our ability to give away a free poker installation which will start an organization’s iGaming journey.”
