DoubleDown Casino, the social gaming wing of International Game Technology enters a deal with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The renowned online casino gambling software provider, International Game Technology (IGT) revealed an agreement between its social gambling subsidiary DoubleDown Casino and the world famous Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Under the terms of the deal the DoubleDown Casino app will be placed on the website of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The application is providing clients with a possibility to play against friends and acquaintances and win virtual chips. All gaming is perfectly in line with the American gambling laws.

Industry experts agree that the new deal is a trial step ahead of the liberalization of online casinos in United States. Creating a client base is of the utmost importance for any gaming operator and software producer.

The DoubleDown Casino brand offers members several online casino games and a multi-player poker platform. IGT also plans to add more slot titles and a brand new bingo game to its social gaming platform.

VP of Global Sales at IGT, Eric Tom, had the following comments for United States gambling news: "Hard Rock is giving players more entertainment, even when they're not on the casino floor. Engaging through the website allows players to remain connected to the property they know and trust, with DoubleDown Casino providing the gaming entertainment."

Bill Warner, president of WG-Harmon, a company that manages Hard Rock Casino, also commented the deal: "Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is constantly looking for ways to enhance our players' experiences. What the relationship with DoubleDown Casino enables us to do is provide just that – more fun, more play, more entertainment."

The growing number of contracts between renowned online casino gambling software developers and land-based gambling destinations in the United States is another sign of possible online gambling legalization in the USA, which could be just around the corner.
