The Blind Side – Michael Oher’s story

Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) doesn’t know what family means and knows even less about his future, or present for that matter. The homeless teenager roams the streets and public buildings of Memphis. The wealthy Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) has little idea about the boy’s world. Still, when she meets him and finds out about his background, she wants to help. With time, Michael finds a home and becomes a member of the Tuohy family. This true story is not only about Michael becoming the star of American football. It’s about his past, struggles, and selflessness that got him there. The way he came over hopelessness and his bleak reality influences the viewer. As well as Bullock’s exceptional portrayal, which got the actress an Oscar in the Best Actress category. Let’s follow the extraordinary journey of a boy coming from having nothing to achieving everything on the football field.

Soul Surfer – The Inspiring Movie About Bethany Hamilton

Bethany Hamilton belongs to one of those people who suffered extreme physical and emotional pain but made amends and turned it around. Bethany Hamilton (AnnaSophia Robb) is a young girl who is a very talented surfer. Everyone believes that she has a bright future ahead of her as a champion. However, fate intervenes, when at the age of 13, she suffers a terrible shark attack. Her parents (Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid) immediately take her to the hospital, but unfortunately, Bethany still loses her entire left arm. The tragedy strikes her and her family, but she doesn’t give up and decides to get back on the surfboard. A month after removing her stitches, she surfed again.

Even with one arm, she managed to regroup and start over, training for the World Cup. It took a lot of work because she had to relearn finding her balance with only one arm. However, less than a year later, she competed again. The film tells the true story of Bethany Hamilton’s tragedy and “happy ending.” Ever since then, she won titles and achieved prominent places, and according to online sportsbook sites in the USeven after three kids, her career goals haven’t changed. She is currently planning to qualify for the WSL World Tour, which you can check out at 22Bet Sportsbook. She is not the only lucky surfer out there, find out more about professional surfers who faced death but survived

Inspiring Sports Movies – McFarland, USA

Jim White (Kevin Costner) is a track coach who can’t keep any of his jobs due to his temperament, so he keeps moving with his family. As a last resort, he accepts a job in a small, rural town, McFarland, by the Mexican border. The people living there have only one alternative, which is growing crops. They can’t cherish any other dreams due to the lack of opportunity to get away from there. Kids and teenagers have to work on the fields before and after school and to get everywhere in time they run.

The coach and his family resent living in McFarland at first. White constantly thinks about getting a new job somewhere else and leaving the shabby place behind. Meanwhile, he notices that the students have exceptional running skills, and he starts coaching them. With lots and lots of difficulties, he sets up the McFarland track team, and the successes slowly begin to come as well. This inspiring sports movie is about White helping seven talented but disadvantaged teenagers to become champions. The film got many nominations, and the best part is that if such a movie comes around again, you can bet on them and check out other famous films about gambling.

Fighting With My family – Humor, Drama, WWE

Another inspiring sports movie was made, based on Page’s, the WWE’s pro wrestler’s life. Saraya’s, aka Page’s, (Florence Pugh) family lives for the wrestling in Norwich, England. His feisty father (Nick Frost) and mother (Lena Headey) are the local wrestling life’s key figures. Saraya, along with his brother Zak (Jack Lowden), has been raised since childhood to become a famous professional wrestler one day. They get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when they have a chance to show their skills in front of a WWE scout from America (Vince Vaughn). Yes, but the agent only offers a place for Saraya, who travels to America to undergo relentless training, while life around Zak, who has stayed at home, is slowly falling apart.

Although the studio promotes Fighting with my family as a comedy, the description above suggests more. The director, Stephen Merchant, likes to emphasize that the film is more of a drama. Of course, with lots and lots of humor, the movie centers around the wrestling world, and especially its rather unknown female side. Needless to say, that Dwayne Johnson’s appearance is well worth the money. Check out the upcoming important wrestling events and support your favorites at 22Bet.
