Lille vs Caen and Nice vs Lorient

Before facing off against Caen at home, Lille first had to play against Evian Thonon Gaillard on Wednesday evening. Considering that they played a mid-week game they next match might prove a bit challenging as they will probably be somewhat fatigued. The good news for Lille is that Caen are last in the league and have a bad record while playing away from home (2 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses).

• Nice favorite against Lorient
• Monaco will play Bordeaux in a highly anticipated match
• Lyon and Toulouse will go head to head on Sunday evening
Lille is situated in 13th position which has propelled Bet365 to assign them favorite odds 1.80 (4/5). Caen have limited chances of success 4.50 (7/2) and are not likely to pass this game with a win, despite the fact that Lille’s squad might suffer from tiredness. The most that visitors can hope for is a draw which has been set at 3.50 (5/2).

Lorient will travel to Nice where they will look to take advantage of the host’s ambiguous home record (3 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses). Taking into account that Nice are playing at home they should have been able to make better progress up the table. As per French gambling laws , Bet365 provides punters with a wide range of gaming possibilities and for this game they have earmarked Nice for the win 2.25 (5/4).

Lorient are currently struggling in 15th position with only 20 points. Their away record is quite uncertain as they have managed to win on three occasions and lose a total of 6 times. These stats won’t help them against Nice who are four places further up the latter. Bet365 has assigned odds of 3.25 (9/4) for Lorient to win, whereas a draw stands at 3.20 (11/5) for the encounter.

Monaco vs Bordeaux and Lyon vs Toulouse

Monaco are not the same team that they were one year ago after losing the likes of James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao to Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively. However, they have still managed to hold their competitive edge in the league and are now fighting to enter the top four, which qualifies clubs to both the Champions League the Europa League.

The principality is fifth with 32 points, but will do all it can against tough opponents Bordeaux who are just a point behind them and find themselves in sixth position. Bet365 is almost certain that Monaco will come out of this challenging encounter with the three points 1.80 (4/5), whereas Bordeaux has been dealt outsider odds of 4.50 (7/2) despite being only one place below the hosts.

Lyon used to be a tour de force in Ligue 1 for years but that all came to a close as new teams emerged onto the scene. However, this season they have experience a positive resurgence and are now situated in 2nd place with 39 points. their home record stands at a remarkable 9 wins and only 1 loss, which is why Bet365 has given them favorite odds 1.65 (13/20).

Toulouse on the other hand are undergoing some difficult times as they could only manage to accumulate 20 points so far which has granted 14th spot on the table. Their away record is 3 wins and a massive 7 losses, stats that will undoubtedly haunt them as they go up against the second team in the league. French gambling news report that the visitors have been assigned outsider odds of 5.00 (4/1), while a draw stands at 3.80 (14/5).
