Some huge fights are set to go down this weekend, and those looking to bet on Invicta 22 should head to Paddy Power to find the best odds!

One of the best female fighters outside the UFC will be looking to defend her title this weekend, and a number of important contender fights will be taking part as well. In this article we’ll break down some of the Invicta 22 betting odds, taking a look at which fighters are coming in as the favorites and underdogs.

Bet on Tonya Evinger vs. Yana Kunitskaya

Tonya Evinger is considered by most MMA analysts to be the best female fighter not competing inside the UFC. The Invicta bantamweight champion won the title in July of 2015, and has since defeated both Pannie Kianzad and Colleen Schneider. In Evinger’s most recent bout, she was forced to tap out to an armbar from Yana Kunitskaya, but controversy surrounded the finish.

The referee of that fight forced Tonya to move from her legal armbar defense, and as a result the armlock was caught even deeper. Evinger managed to have the loss overturned after appealing to the Missouri Athletic Commission, and these two fighters will now face off for a second straight time.

Invicta 22 betting odds
  • Tonya Evinger: 1/3 vs. Yana Kunitskaya: 9/4
  • Akaya Hamasaki: 6/4 vs. Livia Renata Souza: 8/15
Yana Kunitskaya spent most of her early career competing in her native Russia. Nearly all online sportsbooks in the UK listed her as a considerable betting underdog heading into the fight against Evinger, but she proved to the world that she has world-class skills.

Those looking to bet on Invicta 22 might be surprised by the odds here. Despite the ending of their first fight, Paddy Power lists Tonya Evinger as the betting favorite heading into this fight. Her odds to win are currently set at 1/3. Yana Kunitskaya has her second chance to win the Invicta bantamweight title here, but she’s a considerable underdog with odds of 9/4.

Bet on Akaya Hamasaki vs. Livia Renata Souza

Speaking of top women outside the UFC, two of the best 115 pounders in the world will face off this weekend in a bout that will likely determine the next challenger to the strawweight championship. Both Akaya and Hamasaki have garnered reputations as some of the most exciting fighters in the sport, and many MMA betting experts are having a tough time picking a winner here.

Akaya Hamasaki may be undersized for the flyweight division, but that hasn’t hurt her confidence. The Japanese judoka has a record of 14-1, with her only loss coming against top UFC contender Claudia Gadelha. This will be her first fight at 125 pounds, and she’s taking on one of the most dangerous fighters in Invicta.

Livia Renata Souza was thought to be one of the top prospects in all of MMA during her rise up the rankings in Brazil. She immediately made an impact on the international scene by winning the Invicta strawweight championship, and defended the belt once before losing it in a close split decision loss to Angela Hill. She’ll be looking to erase the memory of that fight with a victory against Kamasaki.

This might be the most exciting bet on Invicta 22. Both of these women have skills that could make them a threat in any organization, and the winner may very well make a move into the UFC. At the moment, Paddy Power lists Souza as the slight betting favorite here with odds of 8/15. Akaya Hamasaki has the chance to make UK gambling news with a victory here, though she’s a considerable MMA betting underdog with odds of 6/4.
