Manyx is Contagious’ New Partner under License Agreement for Africa

Contagious licenses pari-mutuel betting platform to Manyx.

Gambling news reports Manyx Interactive and Contagious Gaming signed a licensing agreement recently. Contagious, which develops software solutions for the lottery and gaming sectors, serving some of the largest bookmakers in the world, will have its subsidiary, Contagious Sports, working with the content provider, Manyx.

Manyx will distribute Contagious-owned Goal Time software platform to licensed operators in some African Markets. Should other operators, within the mobile gambling markets, require the distribution by Manyx, it will have to first be agreed upon by Contagious. Goal Time platform maintenance will also be provided by Contagious.

African sportsbooks markets targeted

The deal also includes a one-time licensing fee and royalty payments entitlement. This entitlement is based on gross revenues. Furthermore, live data and specific support, to those operating mobile betting services, will be provided.

CEO and director of Contagious, Peter Glancy, stated that the company was excited about the Goal Time software platform agreement. It means that they can now easily integrate the platform under gambling laws, within the countries they were distributing to, as these countries had prime audiences English for Premier League matches.

Glancy further added that “The structure of this particular agreement allows us to focus on operating Goal Time in our core markets, while at the same time deploying the Goal Time software platform in other key soccer markets around the world.”
