Thanks to the incredible chaos ruling in FIFA, and the renouncing of Sepp Blatter, FIFA will need a new president soon.

According to the reports of Uruguayan gambling news, Diego Armando Maradona will run for being the new president of Federation of International Football Assocciation, also known as FIFA. The source for the information originates from Uruguayian journalist, Victor Hugo Morales.

The journalist claims that the former football star personally told him about his intentions to replace Sepp Blatter on the throne of the football world. Morales called Maradona to enquire about his sick father when the Argentinian informed him about his intentions, and also added that Morales was free to announce the interesting piece of news.

The FIFA scandal is perfect for Maradona

Nicolás Maduro, President of Venezuela, has stated earlier in June that Maradona is happy that the FIFA scandal has been revealed in recent times, because Maradona has been one of the biggest crititists of the Swiss FIFA president. In addition, the scandal lead to Blatter's resignation, which is amazing news for the Argentinian who wanted to replace him.

Online gambling sites in Argentina report that a candidate has to reach the support of at least 5 countries in order to be able to run for presidency. That is where Maradona might be in trouble, as the same thing has happened to former football star Zico, who also wanted to run for presidency but failed to meet the above-mentioned requirements.
